We tried to cut all chemicals, (margarine being one of them) and switched back to good ole fashioned stick butter. It's a pain in the butt to spread when you keep it in the fridge. This knife solves that problem. When you run it across the hard butter, it makes thin ribbons that you can spread nicely n your toast. One of life's little luxuries lol. Definitely a good buy.

For years I've looked for something to spread hard butter other than picking up a quarter pound of butter and rubbing it on my toast. Hard butter with a "butter" knife tears up the toast. The Stainless Steel Butter Spreader Knife also tore up roast beef with a little poking and pulling. My wife loves it. That's really enough for me.

It was great as an addition to my brunch spread! It helped smear butter onto the bagels and bread a LOT easier than with a normal knife. Definitely recommend it!

I love these knives. I ordered the two pack so I could share with my parents. I don’t like leaving my butter out, so I’ve always struggled with hard butter and ripping my toast. That struggle is now in the past. This knife creates thin little ribbons of butter, that spread much more easily and don’t tear the toast. It also cleans up well in the dishwasher, which is a plus!

It’s perfect for hard refrigerated butter, helps you get the right amount of butter if ur health conscious. My kids love it too as it is so convenient to use and makes beautiful curls.
