I have owned several other styles of head magnifiers, mostly the banded ones with fixed lens position. This has some great advantages. First it has multiple magnification lenses, easy to swap and adjustable positions. Second they will fit over glasses. They are very light to wear. When you look straight out, there is nothing in the field of vision so you can see as normal. When you look down, you look through the magnifiers. Band type magnifiers are always in your field of vision and you have to move them up to see distant things. My wife now has two of these for reading in her study upstairs and in the living room downstairs. They are a real game changer for her.
